This is a story about Terry, a man who had endured a year so tough, it nearly broke his spirit (full video at the bottom of this post!).

In 2019, Terry’s world was turned upside down when he lost not one, but two of the most precious beings in his life – his beloved wife and his faithful furry friend, Champ.

With a heavy heart and a sense of emptiness, Terry found himself questioning if there was anything left to look forward to in this world.

But little did he know, a ray of sunshine was about to burst through the dark clouds that had been looming over his life, and her name was Bear.

The Chance Encounter

Enter Natalie, Terry’s daughter-in-law and the one who would unknowingly become the catalyst for Terry’s life-changing encounter.

While out and about near her home, Natalie’s keen eyes spotted a chunky little stray pup, snuggled up on the porch of an abandoned house.

Now, Natalie and her husband were no strangers to acts of kindness, and they knew they had to rescue this precious soul.

With Bear’s adorably plump figure working in their favor, scooping her up was a breeze (no outrunning these kind-hearted folks!).
