Ever had that feeling someone’s watching you?
Well, imagine being a broken-down truck on a sprawling Arizona farm, with a determined deaf Pit Bull named Evie giving you the stare-down of a lifetime!
Evie’s mom, Allison Thomison, initially shrugged off her pup’s laser focus.
After all, living on 300 acres of rural Arizona meant Evie often locked eyes with the local wildlife – rattlesnakes and Gila monsters were no strangers to her intense gaze.
But this time? Oh boy, was it different!
When Evie refused to budge from her watchful post by the truck Thomison’s hubby was tinkering with, curiosity got the better of her.
Little did she know, she was about to stumble upon a feline mystery that had been puzzling her for weeks!
The Purr-plexing Revelation
As Thomison inched closer to investigate, she didn’t need to be a detective to spot what had captured Evie’s attention.
There, tucked away in the truck’s nooks and crannies, was a pint-sized ball of fur – a kitten!
But hold onto your whiskers, folks, because this wasn’t just any kitten.
Thomison’s jaw dropped as she recognized the little feline troublemaker.
A couple of weeks back, she’d spotted a mini-me version of her cat, Noodle, trailing him like a furry shadow.
Talk about déjà vu!
Now, you might be thinking, “Wait a minute, how could Noodle have a mini-me if he’s neutered?”
Well, Thomison was just as baffled.
Was it a cosmic coincidence or some feline family secret?
The mystery remained unsolved, but one thing was clear – this little copycat needed a name.
And so, “Mini-Me” was christened!

Mini-Me had pulled off quite the disappearing act, vanishing as quickly as he’d appeared.
But thanks to Evie’s keen senses (who needs ears when you’ve got eyes like hers?), his hideout was finally busted.
The truck’s engine bay, minus its motor, had become Mini-Me’s personal penthouse suite.
Getting him out?
Well, that was a whole other ball game.
This “spicy” little character made it crystal clear he wasn’t planning on an eviction any time soon.
But as Thomison approached, something magical happened.
Mini-Me’s suspicion melted away faster than ice cream on a hot Arizona day. “He suddenly realized we were there to help,” Thomison shared, her voice warm with the memory.
From Truck to Family
Now, you might think this is where Mini-Me settles into a cozy life with Evie as his new bestie.
But hold your horses!
This little spitfire had other ideas.
While he’s become fast friends with Thomison’s other three cats, Mini-Me seems to harbor a bit of a grudge against his canine discoverer.
“He swipes at Evie every chance he gets,” Thomison chuckled. Talk about biting the paw that found you!
Despite his sass, Mini-Me has found his forever home on the farm.
He’s got his own ritzy corner in an air-conditioned barn (fancy, right?). But true to his feline nature, Mini-Me marches to the beat of his own drum.
“He prefers his truck,” Thomison explained with a grin. “He’s kind of like Oscar the Grouch with his little trash can… he just loves being in there.”
