Dr. Monica Tarantino, DVM, is a small animal veterinarian based in Charlotte, North Carolina, with extensive experience in general, emergency, and geriatric pet health. She works full time as a Level-2 Fear Free certified doctor at an AAHA accredited small animal hospital. Dr. Tarantino has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Rady School of Business in San Diego, California. She has also been involved in mentoring first-year veterinary graduates and has presented clinical cases at an International Veterinary Conference. Dr. Tarantino is a passionate advocate for promoting dog health and has written articles for various pet health-focused websites since 2019. She is the author of the "New Vet Jumpstart Guide" and the "Senior Dog Revolution Podcast" and has co-authored books related to general practice and emergency medicine.
